There are actually three adverts in this series. In the third, the woman walking through the >>potentially dangerous!<< production area, in high heels (!), with a tray of breakable crockery (!), and looking slightly upwards instead of forwards or slightly downwards(!), trips on a loop of plastic pallet-banding on the floor. Going by the accent of her "voice" (-over artist), she's Irish. I refuse to make an Irish joke out of this – suffice it to say, whose fault is it really – really? Oh really, O'Reilly? She got "foive t'ousand pines" for nothing, I believe. And, by the way, the man with the drill bears an uncanny resemblance to Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) off EastEnders – so no surprise he had such a stupid accident, then.

They’re so annoying but I’m not sure why – I think it’s because they’re using popular songs to make it seem cool. I don’t know. Damn annoying though.

This advert smacks of desperation. Nothing in it is connected to each other it seems that everyone who designed the advert had different ideas and no one could be bothered to chose the best one so they decided to use them all,
The whole series of the adverts has been annoying. I would go as far as saying that I can quite easily compare them to a bucket of shite.

This advert makes my ears bleed. It is awful beyond comprehension. Since Halifax started using that idiot Howard I have made a conscious effort not to have anything to do with the Halifax. However is behind the creative thinking for this garbage should be shot (preferably on a Halifax TV advert – I would watch then!)

Yep well said Macca. Sorry but I can’t stand people who say “you remembered it though so it’s a good advert!” Absolute crap. A good advert makes you want to BUY the product you divvies. All I have seen in regards to the product on this forum is people saying that they are closing their Halifax accounts! What makes this even more unpalatable is this bank would be a forgotten turd if it wasn’t for us. Heres an idea guys: less effort on shit adverts, more effort on getting your balance sheet sorted so we can sell our shares in you and wish you a bon voyage.
