Sensodyne Iso-Active Toothpaste Advert. Where is this product going wrong?

Sensodyne Iso-Active Toothpaste Advert

This advert has simple concept. Take someone that uses your product and get them to talk about it, then people will go out and buy it. Well it is seems like a good idea but it backfires if you choose someone that is clinically insane. Seriously, this woman takes enthusiasm to a whole new level.

Toothpaste is a dull, mundane product. I would find it hard to write more than two sentences about it but the women in this advert, you can’t shut her up.

She describes it with the enthusiasm that few women can muster even when talking about there wedding arrangements or new shoes.

The pinnacle of irritation comes when she says, “Where is this product going wrong? Nowhere.” It is such an odd thing to say that it immediately marks her out as a mentalist.

  • I totally agree. She has the most irritating voice and is talking utter rubbish. I have used Sensodyne for years, but this is enough to make me switch.
