I cannot understand why "sexual innuendo" displayed in adverts is bothering anyone!! We are a nation built on innuendo and sarcastic jokes, why should we change just because a select few don't like it? We are living in a world which is far too politically correct and people are getting offended for things left, right and center. Having said that I agree there is a time and place for certain things. Both adverts mentioned are fine in my opinion - much more happier than the one's telling us not to eat a sausage because it might kill us!

In a similar vein, a recent advert for paper towels has a Spanish character named Juan Sheet saying the phrase "Juan Sheet does plenty". Since the accent is Spanish, this is surely meant to sound like "one sh*t does plenty". This is another example of word used intentionally to sound like another (rude) word, to catch your attention or even to get the ad banned, hence drawing more attention to it. Expect to see more like this!

As a responsible, normal adult, I find this advert very offensive. Are you so juvenile that you think people will actually want to buy your product after seeing this advert? Think again, as it's a big turn-off and it disgusts any decent viewer. British television is going right down the pan, which is where this advert should be put!

I agree with the 'sexual innuendo' theory. It's meant to draw your attention right from the start. Advertisers do that sort of thing nowadays. Another trick is to include an unintelligible word in a conversation which forces you to pay more attention to the advert when it is next shown. Adverts are all about psychology these days.

I say that it says "we're going to make her come" my husband just doesn't get it but the way they all look flustered says the people in the ad were supposed to think it too.

Yes, even more obvious in the cut down version they are now showing...It's certainly meant to sound like "We're going to make her cum". Anyone got the email address of the ASA?
